For sale is this lovely vintage fleur-de-lys pendant from the 1960s.
The pendant is made of 14kt yellow gold in a polished finish.

The "fleur-de-lys") depicts the "flower of the lily" and it's name in English translates to that.
While the fleur-de-lis has appeared on countless European coats of arms and flags (Untied Kingdom, Spain, Poland ,Germany ,Quebec to name a few ) it has been mostly associated with the French monarchy.
It is also a symbol often found in architecture, religion, the arts and the military.
